Aerial images taken from Chopper 10 on Wednesday show that a chain of private lakes in the Medford Lakes area were entirely drained after Monday's series of dam bursts.

The footage, which airs Wednesday on NBC 10 News, reveals pictures of houses without waterfronts, twisted and damaged docks, and debris-laden lake beds.

The water in the lakes drained into the surrounding homes and streets.

According to the Web site Realtor.com, sales prices for houses with waterfront property in Medford Lakes ranged upward from $400,000 before the floods.
