This week's Wednesday's Children have a flair for the arts. They'd also like a family to adopt them both.

NBC 10's Vai Sikahema took 9-year-old Darnell and 10-year-old Dasamere to the Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, N.J., and they learned the art of pottery.

Josh from the Perkins Center started them off easy and had them make clay pots using pre-made bowls.

"If you want, you can leave them thick as this or if you want you can just roll them," Josh said.

Darnell and Dasamere got pretty fancy with their bowls.

"You guys are working it boys," Vai said.

"I'm smoothing this out. This is going to be the bomb," Darnell said.

"I'm gonna write my name inside of it," Dasamere said.

Once they mastered the pressed clay pots, it was time to move to the big leagues and use the pottery wheel.

Darnell got right into it.

"Make the clay go into the middle and start bringing it up," Josh said. "Take your thumbs and squish down the middle."

Dasamere discovered how slippery the clay is.

"Whoa," he said. "All I'm doing is messing it up."

Vai got his hands dirty too in his first attempt. But soon all three of them were throwing pots like the pros.

Well, maybe not quite like the pros.

"If that thing falls in your face I'm gonna be laughing," Dasamere said.

The brothers are looking forward to finding a forever family who will be able to share experiences with them.

The boys said they want to stay with each other in the same family.

"It means a lot. I'm not playing around with that, it means a lot," Dasamere said.

"We're more than best friends, we're brothers," Darnell said.

Darnell and Dasamere also hope they can find an artistic family who can nurture their talents.
