I was originally born in the former Yugoslavia, in a small town near Sarajevo. As a child, my family and I had to leave out home in 1993 due to the outbreak of a civil war that was happening at that time. We moved to Hamburg, Germany and lived there for six years before finally settling down in the United States in 1999 with the hopes of a better life. My family was fortunate enough to send me to Philadelphia University to further my education and pursue my dream of studying fashion.

Fashion design has always been a great passion of mine as long as I can remember, whether being a little girl, trying on my mom's shoes and dresses, drawing clothes, or watching the style channel and dreaming that one day my clothes would be shown on the runway. My creativity and inspiration come from everywhere; the different places I have lived, different cultures I have experiences, history and art, even my friends and family. My design style is usually depicted as high-end women's wear fashion that has a very sophisticated look, but is also distinct, fun, young and modern. My design concept is intended for a young woman who will wear the clothes with high confidence, style, grace, and elegance; someone who is not afraid to stand out from the crowd.
