When I was 8 years old I would always draw, sew, and make clothes for my dolls. My grandmother was a seamstress and taught me a lot of what I know today. She once said, "Never give up on a dream, never let anyone stop you, and believe in all that you do." I promised myself I would always work hard for what I want to accomplish and reach for the stars.

I always wanted to go to school for apparel design and land myself in a creative career. I am just about to graduate Philadelphia University with a Bachelors Degree in May. This semester I am looking to learn as much as possible in and outside of the classroom to better prepare me for the real world. With any challenge given, I feel that I can come up with a unique well-executed design to present on the runway. I look forward to receiving challenges that require me to think outside of the box, work with a wide array of materials, and try things I have never done before.
