LaTanya Murchison

I developed a passion for fashion design at the age young age of fourteen and I have been drawing and sketching for as long as I can remember. I decided to put my talents to the test and now, I'm currently a Senior Fashion Design student at Philadelphia University.

In addition to being a design student I also model and have been since the age of ten, I am also a very good dancer and have been teaching dance for about two and a half years now. I have my own fashion label trade name entitled Lady Mocha; in which I started to air brush and print design t-shirts as well as make swimwear during the summer and showcasing those designs in runway shows as well as selling them.

I love to sing, write songs and spoken word, I am very athletic, an energetic, I get excited really quickly, I always have a smile on my face and enjoy entertaining people and making them laugh. I am very positive, respectful, outgoing and patient but sometimes I can be shy and antisocial (I'm working on it). I love to try new things and go new places because I get bored very quickly, which forces me to stay on my toes and keep busy and be ready for the next challenge.

My favorite color is purple, but I love all colors that are bright and vibrant, my favorite foods are chicken strips and French fries, favorite drink is iced tea and Hawaiian punch.
My favorite people are my sisters, they are smart, honest, reliable, trustworthy and caring they are always there to support me and be my biggest fans; they know me better then anyone and are always there when I need someone to talk to.

My ultimate goal is to design for the Victoria Secret Pink and Swimwear Collections, Lady Enyce clothing or Mattel designing Barbie clothing. In the near future I would also like to have my own dance studio and modeling agency in addition to my own clothing store. Right now I just want to finish school, enjoy life and spend time with my family.
