Do you want your wedding video as soon as you get back from the honeymoon? How about the highlights while you are still dancing at the reception that you can hold in the palm of your hand?A wedding video is no longer just the video diary of your wedding. These days, a DVD has to passed around or shipped out to everyone in the family.
Now, thanks to video iPods, videographers have a whole new technology to play with."I got on my computer first. It was, 'Wow, that's amazing to me.' But then, on the iPod, I can show to anyone. I have it all the time. Is like my happy place," said Sharon Wilbur, a new bride.Wilbur was all aglow, just like her wedding ring, as she showed NBC 10 her bridepod."I e-mail clients an address, a url that they paste into their iTunes and then start downloading," said Dave Williams of DVideography in Philadelphia. It's just that simple, according to Williams. Bridepod gives the bride and groom a chance to see highlights just days after the wedding is over and the final cut is portable.Podcasting wedding highlights is the latest craze. Danielle and Mike Redenbaugh, of Lucky Productions, said their clients like going high tech."You can only invite so many people to your wedding, so a week later (you can ) go to your office (and) show all (your) friends at the office," Danielle Redenbaugh said.Fans of iPods can even use them to replace disc jockeys and bands. The Rednbaughs loaded playlists onto an iPod connected to a laptop and speakers for their wedding. Some videographers are even offering love stories -- a video diary to be shown at the reception which can also, along with the wedding, end up in the bridepod. If you are planning a wedding, check with your videographer to see if the service is offered and at what cost.Related Resources:
