NBC 10's Tim Furlong sat down with a local Ghostbuster to review photos and videotape of possible paranormal activity at Phoenixville Library.
Vote Now: Do You Believe The Phoenixville Library Is Haunted?Furlong and Cindy Starr-Witman of Chester County Paranormal Research Society sat down Tuesday and looked at two pieces of evidence. The first piece of evidence was a still photo, taken in the library, of what Starr-Witman calls an "orb."Starr-Witman has other photos of orbs caught on film at the library but pointed out one example as the clearest photo of what she described as a paranormal presence."It is definitely something," says Starr-Witman. "This building is loaded with stuff.Starr-Witman pointed out that the "orb" was translucent."You can see right through it," Starr-Witman said. Her theory is that the orb represents "an apparition gathering energy in order to come forth."The second piece of evidence is a surveillance tape that shows a library book flying off a shelf, without any apparent human help.On the videotape, you will see the incident at time code 9:38:36, when the book falls off the shelf, from left to right, and hits the floor.Librarians say the falling books are a common occurrence.
