Owners of the Burlington County pet store from which the Sun Conure parrot was stolen had been worried about the parrot's health. The baby is still being hand fed and could die if not given proper care."He could become dehydrated from not having formula made the proper way or given the amount he needs or the amount of times he needs to feed a day," said Lisa Martin, with Birds Exotic.A woman called police after seeing the surveillance video shown by NBC 10. She had recognized one of the men allegedly involved in the bird theft as her boyfriend, 18-year-old John Patrick Tsavdaridis. The pet store told NBC 10 that the bird had been being kept in a Dunkin Donuts bathroom in Cinnaminson. It has a bit of a cold, but should be OK.After this ordeal, the pet store has named the bird Lucky.Tsavdaridis has been arrested and charged with shoplifting.
