Dozens of people are not happy travelers after they say they paid a travel agent thousands of dollars for a trip on a Disney cruise and have no tickets to show for it.

The Frink family was sitting outside Penn Towne Travel at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday waiting for answers.

The west Philadelphia family said they had been planning their trip for a year. They were scheduled to start their 8-day Disney cruise Thursday at 7 a.m., but were told by the agency's owner, Jean Brown, that there were no airline tickets, no reservations and no sign of the $32,000 they say they paid the woman.

"People trusted me with their money and now I have nothing to show them," said Joyce Frink, one of the organizers of the trip.

"We've been planning this trip for a year and we just get here a few days before the trip and find that nothing is going to happen," said Thomas Kimble.

"Me and my nieces and my friends were supposed to be going. We've been counting down the days, we were so excited," said young Sade Frink.

Family members showed NBC 10 News receipts from the agency that covered the cost for 28 family members. But Brown refused to comment on the situation and slammed the door on NBC 10's cameras.

Hours later, Brown left for the bank with a family member and promised to return with the cash and an alternative vacation plan. But, instead, all that came back was a call from Joyce Frink's husband with bad news.

"There doesn't seem to be any money anywhere. She has nothing," Joyce said.

As of 6 p.m. Wednesday, family members were still talking with the travel agent. Kimble said the woman came back from the bank promising to pay the family members back and gave them a paper that said she would pay them back within 15 days. Kimmell said he doesn't really believe they will see their money.
