Valentino, a 200-pound bouncing baby boy, took his first steps just minutes after birth.

It is common for newborn elephants to begin walking almost immediately after birth in the wild because if they didn’t, they would be easy prey.

Valentino is the fifth elephant born at Indonesia's Pringen Safari Park since the facility opened in 1997.
