Company Has Solution To Fixing Recurring Police Radio Problems

The company that makes radios for Philadelphia police said it fully understands why its equipment failed for 50 minutes Tuesday night.

Motorola said it has a solution to fix what's been a recurring problem for years.

The radios were silenced all over the city Tuesday night for almost an hour, meaning officers couldn't communicate with each other or with dispatchers.

The problem has happened before over the last few years.
