PHILADELPHIA -- Police are asking the public to help identify a man captured on a surveillance video using a credit card they said belonged to a man killed last week.Corey Moody, 38, was struck in the head with a brick last Friday and killed as he walked home from work, police said. His wallet was stolen, according to authorities.
Police released surveillance video on Wednesday that they said shows a man using Moody’s credit card and identification to buy baseball caps. The man is seen in the store with several children.Police said hundreds of dollars of goods were charged to Moody’s account, including a watch and a medallion on a chain.Police say they do not know if the man in the video is responsible for Moody’s death or just found his credit cards.Moody’s sister said the video gives the family hope the killer will be found.Moody left behind eight children.“My brother didn’t deserve this,” said Tameka Taylor.
