ATLANTIC COUNTY, N.J. -- A woman was found dead Tuesday in a South Jersey apartment complex and authorities have ruled her death a homicide, police said.

The discovery was made at the Carriage House Apartments on New Road in Somers Point, Atlantic County. Police tape surrounded the building as investigators searched for evidence Tuesday.Family identified the victim as 19-year-old Tanisha Tull, an Atlantic Cape Community College nursing student who was living in the apartment alone.
A neighbor told NBC 10 that an older male knocked on the door asking for Tull. Police were on the scene interviewing residents trying to figure out who that man might be.
