The armed robbery occurred at 3:11 a.m. Monday in the convenience store located at 1244 Bristol Pike in Falls Township.

Police said the two robbers entered the store and approached clerks who were working. The first man had one of the clerks take him to the front and rear of the store to pull out phone lines and prop open a rear door using a trashcan.

The second man approached the cash register and asked the clerk to open the register door as well as the safe. Police said an undetermined amount of cash and the safe's contents were taken before both men ran out the back door.

Police said both robbers were described as black men, possibly in their 20s, wearing black ski masks and sweatshirts. The first robber is about 6 feet tall, wore black pants and carried a semiautomatic pistol. The second was said to be between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and armed with a revolver.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Nelson Whitney at 215-949-9116.
