PHILADEPHIA -- Two children were treated for minor injuries after an overnight apartment fire in Bucks County.

The fire broke out at the Avalon Court Apartments along Oxford Valley Road in Levittown shortly after midnight.

Firefighters received a report of heavy fire coming from a ground-floor apartment in the three-story complex. Investigators said the fire was contained to the basement of the building.

Two children were taken to a hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and released.

There was no word on the cause of the fire.
