13-Year-Old Killed In South Jersey ATV Crash

Two 15-Year-Olds Injured In Collision

A teenager was killed in a deadly ATV crash in South Jersey late Saturday night, police said.

Three teenagers were riding a quad when it collided with a car near the intersection of Route 73 and Myers Avenue in Winslow Township in Camden County at about 10:30 p.m.

The teens were ejected from the ATV, and a 13-year-old from Sicklerville, N.J. was killed.

The deadly crash also injured the two other riders, who are both 15 years old and from Berlin, N.J. They were airlifted to the hospital. There was no word on their conditions.

Police said the ATV was crossing over Route 73 when it crashed with a Nissan driven by a 17-year-old girl from Lindenwold, N.J.

Investigators said it is legal to cross a road on an ATV if it is properly registered. It was not known if the ATV was registered.

There was no word if the 17-year-old driver of the car will face charges.
