The state has filed a lawsuit against Celebration Studios and its owner after receiving more than 500 complaints.

The complaints allege the company did not deliver contracted services or return deposits when it suddenly shut down this month.

A temporary restraining order prohibits the company from disposing of photographs, negatives, proofs, digital files, videotapes and other material, as well as any consumer deposits and payments.

Anyone who hired Celebration Studios to do photography work and has not gotten products or money returned can file a complaint with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office or call the Division of Consumer Affairs at 973-504-6200.
