Middletown police said he was speeding Sunday night when he hit two 14-year-olds on the 100 block of Forsythia Drive in front of the Samuel Everitt Elementary School, and then left the scene. The injured teens have been identified by people in the neighborhood as Victoria Krzywonos and Bradley Vamka. Both are students at Carl Sandber Middle School.Nine hours after the accident and miles away, Brown turned himself in to Abington Township police and they transferred him to authorities in Middletown Township. Both teens are in stable condition at Children's' Hospital. Krzywonos has undergone a second surgery.Vamka was on a bicycle and Krzywonos was sitting on a curb when the driver ran them over, police said. Those who live near the hit-and-run scene are angry that many cars speed by that area, which is a short distance from a school, residents said.Brown was charged with hit-and-run and leaving the scene of the accident. His bail was set at $75,000 pending his next court appearance Thursday.
