The son of Eagles head coach Andy Reid was picked up Thursday for driving erratically and locked up Friday for violating the terms of his bail in an earlier road-rage incident.Investigators said they are waiting for evidence to be analyzed before deciding if the 22-year-old faces any new charges, NBC 10's Deanna Durante reported.Sources said more than 200 pills were seized from his car.
Britt Reid was already in hot water after pleading guilty to a road rage incident in West Conshohocken in January.Less than two weeks after that plea, employees at Dick's Sporting Goods reported Britt Reid seemed intoxicated.According to court documents, investigators said his driving was erratic; he almost hit a parked SUV and slammed into a shopping cart.Plymouth Township police hauled his truck away and have, according to sources, finished searching the vehicle. The search warrant is sealed and its contents are not being made public, but NBC 10 has learned more than 200 prescription-like pills were found in that car, according to sources, along with a rolled $10 bill with white residue."The next time I have anything to say on this case will be when I decide whether to file charges or not," said Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor.Sources said investigators are not yet sure what those pills are. Test results haven't yet come back. E-mails and phone calls to Britt Reid's attorneys have not been returned, Durante reported.
