That's right, July 7, 2007 -- or 7-7-07 -- is this Saturday, and plenty of couples are taking advantage of the lucky numbers.

For one local mother and daughter, the day is twice as big because it's when they'll both be tying the knot. Experts said they're among more than 65,000 couples getting married on the unusual day.

But what do all these numbers mean, and are these sevens really lucky?

Well, get out your wedding dates because numerology is one way to find out, reported All That & More's Lynn Berry.

"Three 7s it's something, it's lucky," said Michele.

So, lucky that she and her daughter, Malika, are both getting married Saturday.

"I raced to get the calendar to see when 7-7-07 was, and it turned out to be a Saturday," Malika said.

So, she called her daughter and said, "'Why don't you guys just get married, and we'll have a double wedding?' and it worked out. Everything worked out."

They're not alone. Of the couples marrying on Saturday, David's Bridal in Plymouth Meeting is dressing hundreds of them.

"It added that extra aura of mystery of magic. Every couple is looking for that little something extra that kicks their marriage off to a lucky start," said Cindi Freeburn, a David's Bridal representative.

But numerologists, like Elizabeth Joyce, said it's not about magic. A wedding date can play a big part in couples future and is determined by using an ancient equation of adding up all digits in a number and repeating until you get a single digit.

"The numbers are broken down from 1 to 9 and each number has its own energy," Joyce said.

There is something special about this Saturday, but it's not the unique combination of sevens, Joyce said. The number associated with that day is five.

"The number five represents travel, it represents children grandchildren, sports. … It's also a very romantic number. Five is romance," Joyce said.

Joyce said don't hang your veil on that. It's also a date that will bring a lot of change and challenges.

"Yes, you're feeling romantic and feeling in love, but you want to grow with that person," she said. "You feel enough about that person that you can accept any changes that come your way. And, when you have that attitude, it's a winner."

Are you wondering what your wedding dates means? It's easy enough to figure out by visiting Joyce's Web site here. Scroll down to the bottom to see what it means.

If you, like NBC 10's Denise Nakano, were married on June 12, 1999 (06-12-1999), your number comes out to be one.

Choosing a number one wedding day indicates that you are a very affectionate and loving couple. It shows maturity with the marriage and an ability to work through disagreements and upsets in a respectful manner. This loving couple is seeking total oneness with each other.

There's also more information on numerology at Joyce's Web site.
