PHILADELPHIA -- Trans fats soon could be off the menu at Philadelphia restaurants.The City Council is considering banning trans fat in oils and shortenings by next September.A year later, it may ban trans fats in all foods in restaurants and food services.
The City Council is not expected to act on the proposal for several months.
