A civilian employee of the Philadelphia Police Department has been arrested and faces serious charges.

Colleen Brubaker, 31, of the 4500 block of Teesdale Street, has been charged with theft, receiving stolen property and tampering with records.

A police source told NBC 10 that Brubaker stole OxyContin from the police evidence lab, where she once worked as a forensic scientist. She resigned in May and was charged Wednesday.
