Over his 26 years of experience as an investigative reporter Harry Hairston has established himself as a crime fighter.

He has broken dozens of stories on the arrests of major drug dealers on the federal level and the smuggling of blackmarket cigarettes to avoid the state sales taxes.

Hairston's other stories included exposing a judge who only gave probation to a man with 29 prior felony convictions.

Previous investigations Hairston conducted resulted in the removal of a fire commissioner and police chief from office.

"I take pride in doing investigative reports because it allows me the opportunity to defend those who can't defend themselves and it also allows me to challege those who attempt to abuse their power," Hairston said.
