To keep your skin looking good, it's important to treat it, but that can be expensive. NBC 10 talked to a local aesthetician who demonstrated some remedies for your skin that you can do right in your own home.Maygon Larosse-Bean is an aesthetician at Adolf Biecker Salon in Center City. For years, she has worked on giving her clients what they want when it comes to having fabulous skin. She has also worked on some personal at-home remedies that people can whip them up in their own homes.Dry Skin
1/4 banana
2 tsp. of honey
1 egg
"This is going to add moisture. The honey and banana add nutrients into the skin that it's lacking from dryness," Larosse-Bean said.Oily Skin, Skin Prone To Acne
2 tbsp. dry clay
1/2 an avocado
1 tsp. witch hazel
Squirt of juice from a tangerine or an orange
"This is going to pull out oil in acne skin," Larosse-Bean said.Sensitive Skin
2 tbsp. oats
2 tbsp. distilled water
Several drops of chamomile
"This is great for a lot of different things and can be used for a lot of remedies as well," Larosse-Bean said. "You have one face. You turn around 20 years from now and go, 'Oh, I shoulda, woulda, coulda,' it's too late. So, make sure to take care of it now, drink plenty of water, keep everything hydrated internally, as well, and just take care of yourself."Larosse-Bean suggested that you should try these home remedies on your skin about once a month. She said that you should keep the mixture on your face for about 10 minutes and then rinse it off with a lukewarm towel.
