And they tend to go for a guy who smells like their father or brother.
E-Mail: Send Story To A FriendHe says that's why women pick the wrong men and the divorce rate is so high. And Dr. Herz, a Brown University professor and an odor expert, believes that before you marry someone, get off the pill."We sort of dismiss what our noses tell us but I think it could be quite important," she says. "And that's why not being on the pill could give us this extra clue."There is a lot to be said about the way in which we use scent as a way to be attracted to people," says Dr. Chris Fariello, a sex therapist at the Counsel For Relationships in Philadelphia."But to say so clearly that going off the pill changes the way in which women smell which then they become repulsed by their partners and then want to leave them is just a stretch," Fariello says.Whatever you believe remember, there is evidence each of us is attracted to a certain scent. For More Information www.brainscience.brown.edu/departments/faculty/herz.html
