As a part of a new healthy eating campaign, Saint Joseph’s University has decided to ban trans fats.

The school recently decided to ban all trans fats from fryer oils in all of its campus dining locations, according to school officials.

Instead, the cooks will use a combination of corn and sunflower oils starting in February.

Trans fats are known to raise bad cholesterol and increase the risk of heart disease.
